I volunteered to carve a raccoon to be planted in the Catawba County, NC area for the Scouts. The problem was that DH didn't want me to part with the stamp! So I promised him I would carve another one, just for him. This raccoon will go into the wilds, so the LTCs are limited. When they're gone, there will be no more. The next raccoon (posted above) and the footprints will stay with me. The footprints of a raccoon are interesting. The small footprint belongs to the front foot, while the larger footprint is the back foot.
Carving is so cool! I just started lino carving and have my first official wound on my hand as a result. Fun stuff, eh?
ReplyDeleteI love the "pink stuff" best for carving...yes it's very addictive. My husband says he doesn't have enough patience to carve, but I feel that it's relaxing!
