Foxy Girl's Signature Stamp-First Carve:
Foxy Girl carved her second stamp in the Fall of 2009. She loves animals and wanted to carve a dog. We decided to put it on a "leash" of string. At first, FG wanted to name it "Princess" after her own Yorkshire Terrier, but the dog tag is too small for that, so she picked "Max."
For her third carve in December, Foxy Girl picked a bird shaped like a bluebird but insisted she wanted it to be red. Thus, the name "Red Bluebird." She had just turned 7 in October.
Foxy Girl's next carve was a colorful clown. He was juggling five balls. She enjoyed picking the colors for it.
Foxy Girl's "Under the Tree" was done with glitter for the ornaments, and some typed words for the banner. She carved a star for the top of the tree and presents under the tree. Maybe one of the presents is yours?
Foxy Girl joined a Tracker for School Mascots. Her school mascot is a tiger, so she picked this image to represent the Startown Tigers. Notice how much she's improving in her carving! This was also carved in February.
"Waiting for Supper" is Nonni Chedva's favorite carve that Foxy Girl has done. The cat looks so hungry, but patient, too. I wonder if the bird flew away... (This carve was in May, 2010.)
"Summer at the Beach" is a very colorful, fun, LTC. The umbrella was stamped and colored with Marvy Markers, and the flip flops were stamped in purple. The "beach towel" is really a piece of background paper.
In "Falling Leaves" Foxy Girl used black, brown, orange and green inks, orange glitter glue, and then brown chalk smudges for the background. A nice Autumn effect.
"Disney: Bambi's Thumper" is Foxy Girl's favorite carve. Thumper is so very hugable, lovable, and just friendly. You have to love him!!
